CFNC Wednesday Wildflower Walks – Spring 2016

Each Spring, the Castlemaine Field Naturalists Club hosts a series of Wednesday afternoon wildflower walks.  With all of the rain over recent weeks and months, this is shaping up as being one of the best wildflower seasons in many years.  There are three more walks being held this year, all departing at 4pm sharp from the Octopus building car-park (Duke St, opposite the Castle Motel).  Members and visitors are welcome.

Wednesday 21 Sept – Location: Pipeline Track.  Leader: Geraldine Harris

Wednesday 28 September – Location: TBD.  Leader: George Broadway

Wednesday 5 October – Location: TBD.  Leaders: Peter and Rosemary Turner

  1. I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday’s ramble. Preparations worked well and the bush looked wonderful. I’ve never before seen such floriferous Castlemaine bush. Thanks again to the organizers and supporters. Your efforts are appreciated.
