Fri 11 Dec 2015 – CFNC Member’s Night

The December gathering of the Castlemaine Field Naturalists is always one of the most enjoyable of the year.  Members of the club are encouraged to make a 5 minute presentation on a naturalist topic of their choice.  And it can be presented in any way you like – talk, slideshow, song, poem, show & tell or interpretative dance.  The opportunities are endless!  (a projector and PC laptop computer are available for use).

However, its not just restricted to members.  Supporters and visitors are very welcome to come along as well to enjoy the night- or even make a presentation if they want.  Entry is free, but everyone is encouraged to bring along a plate of food to share for supper afterwards.

As per usual, it is being held in the hall behind the Uniting Church on Lyttleton St in Castlemaine (next door to the Art Gallery and Museum).   It all kicks off at 7.30pm sharp, but feel free to arrive earlier for a cup of tea and a chat.

This is the final CFNC event for 2015.

  1. Hi, all. I have to be an apology for Friday night, owing to a Lions Club commitment, but will be there in spirit. A sighting: sugar gliders recently returned to the eucalypts near our house in Muckleford, west of Bassetts Creek. We haven’t seen any for several years. All the best, Ross Williams.
