This Friday night, 12th Dec, is the Castlemaine Field Naturalists Club’s traditional pre-Xmas “Members Night”. It’s a chance for club members (and visitors) to get up on stage in a friendly environment to share some photos, a nature experience, a poem or to pass around to pass around some interesting material. You can be as creative as you like, but please keep your presentations to no more than 5 minutes. A PC laptop and digital projector will be available on the night. (Unfortunately when using the club’s equipment, we usually struggle to display anything prepared on an Apple computer. You’ll need to either convert it to a PC-compatible format, or bring along your own display equipment.).
After the presentations, we’ll share an end-of-year celebration supper together. Please bring along a plate of food.
Members and visitors are all very welcome. It all kicks off from 7.30pm at the Uniting Church Hall on Lyttleton St, Castlemaine (next door to the Art Gallery and Museum). – But get there a bit earlier if you have a powerpoint presentation, so that we load it onto the computer beforehand.
Look forward to seeing you there.
